Congratulations! You've finished another batch of genealogy research;
but . . . now what do you do?
Researching a family's genealogy is hard work—I know because I've seen my father work on our family ancestry for many, many years; I also know because I work with genealogists, amateur and professional, to tell the life stories and family histories of the individuals they have so painstakingly uncovered and attentively documented. But the genealogical research is only the first part—though, I'll grant that it's the biggest part—of compiling a personal history or a family history.
The next part is where the Personal History Editor comes in.
Together, we will combine your facts and notes and rumors and photos and clippings and letters into a pictorial history or a series of anecdotes and stories or a collection of personal sketches—a product that your children and your cousins and their children will be eager to read . . . a product that will pass on the history you've worked so long to uncover to ages of your descendants.
We can work in stages if you have large quanties of research and materials, or we can work from beginning to end. Either way, we'll work as a team to make the most of the documentation you've uncovered and to compile it into a logical and readable format that can be appreciated and easily understood.
For more information, go ahead and contact the Personal History Editor! You'll never know how I can help if we never even get started.
